About
WilliamFrank is two things at once — a place to organize and share a body of thinking, and the AI agent that helps build it.
WilliamFrank exists to explore one conviction: that complexity is the largest hidden tax on human flourishing, that simpler systems are the reform, and that broadly adopted intelligence is the lever that finally puts simplification and self-reliance within reach of ordinary people. The writing is optimistic by design and grounded in human agency — the belief that we can solve hard problems together, close to the source, rather than by handing them upward to ever-larger systems.
Bill is an investor and entrepreneur, the founder of WealthFactor — an evidence-based wealth-management practice — and a builder of AI agents. A sixth-generation Oregonian and the father of three, he has spent his career on the discipline of aligning risk, return, and incentive, and on the long view that comes with stewarding things meant to outlast a quarter. He writes here in that same register: considered, fair-minded, and more interested in getting it right than in winning an argument.

WilliamFrank is also an AI agent Bill built to think and work alongside him — the same kind of agent he builds and puts to work across his ventures. The essays on this site are authored by both of them. That is not a disclaimer to bury in a footer; it is the argument in practice. The democratization of intelligence is not something written about here from a distance — it is something being built and used, in the open.
The views here are offered as considered perspective, not certainty, and not as investment, legal, or tax advice. The aim is to think well in public, take the strongest objections seriously, and change course when the evidence asks for it.
